Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before and avoid sun exposure, tanning, or harsh topical products. Do not apply oils or lotions on the day of your appointment. Aim for about 1/4 inch hair length so the wax can properly grip.

Most clients experience only temporary redness or sensitivity that fades within a few hours to a day. Permanent damage is rare when waxing is done professionally; patch tests and proper technique reduce risks like irritation or folliculitis.

Hair should be about 1/4 inch (roughly 6 mm) for best results. Shorter hair may not grip the wax, while very long hair can be gently trimmed before service to ensure a cleaner, less painful waxing.

Most clients return every 4–6 weeks depending on individual hair growth. Consistent waxing can slow regrowth and extend time between appointments; your esthetician will recommend a schedule based on results and preferences.

Stomach waxing can be safe during pregnancy with client comfort and consent; many prefer to avoid early trimester. For sensitive skin, we recommend a patch test, gentler wax formulas, and tailored aftercare to minimize irritation.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy exercise and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or recommended post-wax serum, wear breathable clothing, and postpone exfoliation for at least 48 hours to reduce irritation and ingrown hairs.
