Get answers to common questions about Full Legs Waxing.
Arrive with clean, dry skin and hair about ¼ inch long. Avoid moisturizers, self-tanners, and heavy exercise 24 hours prior. If you're on retinoids or treatments, inform your technician. We can advise any special preparations.
Some discomfort is normal, especially on first waxing. We use professional techniques and soothing products to reduce pain. For extra sensitivity, technicians can adjust method, speed, and apply numbing or calming post-care to enhance comfort.
Ideally hair should be about 1/4 inch (roughly 6 mm) long so wax can grip effectively. If shorter, waxing may be less effective; if much longer, trimming may be recommended before service.
Most clients return every 4 to 6 weeks depending on hair growth rate. Regular waxing can reduce density and extend intervals between appointments. Your technician will recommend a personalized schedule. Consistency yields best results.
Temporary redness, bumps, or sensitivity are common and usually fade within 24-48 hours. Follow aftercare—avoid hot baths, sun exposure, and exfoliate gently after 48 hours. Contact us if irritation persists or you notice infection signs.
Pregnancy is generally safe, but increased sensitivity may occur; inform your technician and they will adjust pressure or technique. If you're taking blood thinners, strong retinoids, or other medications, consult your doctor first and tell us beforehand.
