Get answers to common questions about Full Face Waxing.
Results commonly last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and extend intervals. Factors like hormones, medications, and genetics influence duration; we recommend scheduling maintenance every four to six weeks.
You may experience temporary redness or sensitivity immediately after waxing, but trained estheticians minimize risks. Permanent damage is rare; issues occur when skin is overly exfoliated or treated. We perform patch tests and adapt methods for delicate skin to reduce irritation.
Come with clean, makeup-free skin and hair about a quarter-inch long for effective removal. Avoid retinoids and aggressive exfoliation for at least three to seven days prior. If you’re unsure, consult our esthetician for personalized pre-care advice.
Full Face Waxing can be suitable for sensitive or acne-prone skin when performed carefully. We use gentle waxes, perform patch tests, and avoid active, inflamed breakouts. Discuss your skin history so we can tailor technique and products for safer results.
Avoid waxing immediately after chemical peels or while using retinoids. Wait at least two weeks after medium to deep peels and stop topical retinoids seven to fourteen days prior. Consult us about recent treatments to prevent complications.
Aftercare includes avoiding sun exposure, hot showers, saunas, and strenuous exercise for 24 to 48 hours. Apply a calming lotion or aloe, avoid heavy makeup for a day, and gently exfoliate after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.
