Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Extended Bikini Waxing.

Extended Bikini Waxing removes hair from the small bikini area—sides and top—while excluding the labia and hair between the butt cheeks. It leaves a clean line along the swimsuit area without intimate or intergluteal waxing.

Plan for about 20 to 30 minutes including consultation and setup. Timing varies with hair density and comfort breaks. First appointments may take slightly longer; regular clients often finish more quickly.

Trim to roughly a quarter-inch if hair is longer, otherwise let it grow naturally. Arrive clean, skip heavy creams or tanning, and wear loose clothing. Avoid aspirin or alcohol beforehand to reduce sensitivity.

Some discomfort is normal, but waxing is quick. Skilled aestheticians use techniques to minimize pain, including supportive positioning and swift removal. Reduce sensitivity by avoiding caffeine, exfoliating before, and considering topical numbing if recommended.

Most clients schedule every four to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. With consistent waxing, hair thins and intervals may lengthen. We will recommend a personalized cadence based on your growth pattern and comfort.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense workouts and swimming for 24 to 48 hours to prevent irritation and infection. Wear breathable cotton, apply a soothing aloe or antibacterial ointment, and gently exfoliate after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.
