Get answers to common questions about Half Legs Sugaring.

Most clients enjoy three to six weeks of smoothness depending on hair growth cycles and individual biology. With regular sugaring, regrowth often becomes finer and sparser, allowing longer intervals between appointments and more manageable maintenance.

Sugaring is often gentler than waxing because the paste adheres to hair, not skin, reducing tugging. Some discomfort is normal, but many find it less painful than waxing. Numbing creams or shorter hair prep can help minimize sensitivity.

Trim hair to about 1/8 to 1/4 inch if needed and avoid shaving for at least three weeks. Exfoliate gently 48 hours before, skip retinoids, and arrive with clean, lotion-free skin for best sugaring results.

Hair should ideally be about 1/8 to 1/4 inch (3–6 mm) long so the sugar paste can grip. If hair is longer, we'll trim it; if too short, wait a few days before your appointment.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, or heavy exercise for 24 hours and skip sun exposure immediately after. Gently exfoliate after 48 hours and apply soothing aloe or oil to prevent irritation and keep skin hydrated.
