Get answers to common questions about Brow Maintenance.
Most clients return every 3–5 weeks depending on hair growth and personal preference. Your technician will recommend an ideal interval after assessing regrowth patterns and desired shape, ensuring consistent results and easier upkeep between visits.
Sugaring is generally less painful because the paste adheres to hair rather than skin, minimizing tugging. Our experienced technicians use gentle techniques and aftercare to reduce discomfort, resulting in a calmer experience and lower redness compared to many waxing treatments.
Come with clean, makeup-free brows and skin; avoid topical retinoids or aggressive exfoliants for at least 48–72 hours. A quarter-inch of regrowth helps the sugar paste grip. Inform your technician of medications or sensitivities for tailored care and safer results.
Avoid heavy makeup, saunas, intense exercise, or sun exposure for 24–48 hours to prevent irritation. Use a soothing serum or aloe and apply SPF the next day. Gentle exfoliation can resume after 48–72 hours to encourage even regrowth when appropriate.
Tinting can often be combined with brow maintenance for a polished finish. If your skin is sensitive we may recommend waiting or performing a patch test. Discuss your desired color and timing with your technician so we can safely schedule tinting before or after sugaring.
Sugaring is often recommended for sensitive skin because it extracts hair with minimal skin contact. Our technicians perform consultations, adjust technique, and can run a patch test to ensure tolerance. Proper aftercare and avoiding irritants further reduce the chance of redness or reactions.
