You’ll see immediate plumping that typically lasts 24–72 hours. Multiple sessions enhance texture and color; maintenance every 2–4 weeks preserves results. For longer-term volume changes consider discussing injectable fillers or combined treatments with your clinician.

Most clients find Lip Enhancement very comfortable. The MySkinBuddy delivers gentle suction, soothing heat and LED light; sensation is mild and non-invasive. If you have heightened sensitivity we can adjust settings or apply a topical numbing balm for extra comfort.

Side effects are minimal and temporary: mild swelling, redness, tenderness, or flaking after exfoliation. These usually resolve within 24–72 hours. Avoid harsh lip products and sun exposure immediately after treatment. Contact us if symptoms persist or worsen beyond a few days.

We recommend waiting at least 30–60 minutes before applying makeup to treated lips. Because the polish exfoliates, give lips time to recover and absorb soothing balms. If you must apply makeup sooner, use a clean, gentle lip balm first to protect the skin.

Arrive with clean, product-free lips. Avoid aggressive exfoliants, retinoids, and recent chemical peels for one week prior. If you have a history of cold sores, tell us—antiviral pre-treatment may be advised. Hydrate well and plan minimal activity directly after the appointment.

Ideal candidates have dry, textured, or naturally thin lips seeking non-invasive plumping and smoother texture. Not recommended for active cold sores, open wounds, or known allergies to product ingredients. Pregnant or breastfeeding clients should consult their provider before treatment.
